NEHRI Summer Research

Are you interested in a hands-on summer research experience at one of the Nations top Natural Hazard Engineering research centers?  These facilities are located across the Nation and include Shake Tables for earthquake engineering, Centrifuges for geotechnical research, Wind Tunnels for wind design, and Tsumani simulators.  Information about facilities may be found at https://www.designsafe-ci.org/facilities/experimental/.  Summer research opportunities are available at each of these ten institutions for undergraduate students.   More information and application forms may be found at https://www.designsafe-ci.org/learning-center/reu/.  In addition to receiving a stipend, travel funds will be provided for travel to and from the research site.  The deadline to apply is February 1, 2018, so be sure to apply soon if you would like to be considered for this outstanding opportunity to work alongside some of our nationals best researchers.
